Thor Love and Thunder

Booskan concept, Zbrush and Photoshop. The hair was a major feature, we tried a number of different hair looks but settled on a dreadlock style. I love how unruly and wild the practical suit hair came out.

The design was mainly the head and upper body, arms with hand extensions. The clothes here were just placeholder.

Figuring out how the design would fit over an actor. The idea was for the actor see out from below the skin/eye mask area through the hair.

Had the opportunity to work with Adam Johanson and Odd Studio on concept art for the "Booskan" for "Thor Love and Thunder".
Check out Odd Studio's incredible practical costume and makeup work here:

My work was based on early artwork by Anthony Francisco (https://conceptartworld.com/artists/anthony-francisco/). Such a fun and challenging creature, everybody at Odd Studio was fantastic to work with. The excellent costuming is by Mayes Rubeo. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mayes_C._Rubeo)
